April Movies

Alright so April has gone and below is the movies I managed to see over April, out of these I thought Sione's Wedding was fantastic! It is a film that covers the lives of 4 guys in Auckland New Zealand, who are pretty much useless at keeping themselves out of trouble, in particular at weddings of close mates. It revolves around the Pacific Islander culture of NZ, and has quite a few in jokes. That after being here in New Zealand long enough, have alot better appreciation of the humour. It is a really lighthearted film, which left you on a good note...I am not sure how much exposure it will get overseas, but if it makes it over there, then get an eyefull. Other Notable movies were Ice Age 2 (whilst funny, I didnt believe it was as funny as the first) and Lord of War, is a challanging film, has a bit of a raw edge to it dealing with weapon trafficing etc. Next up is May....

Ok so here is the list I have seen so far for April

Underworld: Evolution
V for Vendetta
Derailed
Ice Age 2
Flight Plan
Sione's Wedding (NZ flick)
Lord of War

and the Going to See List;

March of the Penquins

    I went to March of the Penguins last week.

    It was pretty good - for the first 20 mins, then I got sick of seeing the penguins, and snow, and wind, and ice, and penguins, and penguins waddling, and snow, and big token landscape shot, and wind, and...

    You get the idea ;-)
